Woo-Hooo!!!!! Out of ICU!!!!
We've just completed the move to 5608. It is a lovely room with a view, couch and recliner. Now this is living! Ms. LaTonia is our sweet nurse until 7:00 this evening.
Dr. Wheless checked out the MRI from this morning and said that Henry's brain looks BEAUTIFUL! Dr. Einhaus did a great job maneuvering through all of the veins and arteries during surgery, and things look just as they are supposed too. What great news!!! Henry is still very heavily sedated, so not too much activity yet today, but we should be able to decrease that now as we get settled here. More updates soon!
Happy days....

This is great news! Hallelujah! We're still praying here...
I am home now and ready for a nap! I am happy to here you are getting settled in your "luxury" room. I listened to my praise music all the way home and prayed for our little man! I know it will be the best outcome. Even though, I am not there, my thought are with you every minute. Thanks for letting be a part of Henry's precious life! Love to all, Holly

LOVIN YA'LL
we love to hear great news!
You have done everything......but mainly TRUST!that is sometimes so hard....but, we are so glad that you let God and the doctors steal Henry away from ya'll for a few hours to do their magic! That takes so much TRUST! And, how wonderful that he is back in your safe arms doing beautifully! Continue to place your trust in HIM! WE LOVE YA'LL....
sleep well and keep sending updates...i am checking often...

Dear friends, I was much more tired than I thought because as I reread my post, I was ashamed to say that I am a teacher. Lots of mistakes and I do know the correct form of hear/here to use. Please forgive! Holly
I attended a womens Bible conference tonight called the Gathering. We discussed listening to the Lord when we are praying. We had a time to listen to the Lord and then we were to call out the name of the person the Lord layed on our heart.(Even though Kevin and I have been praying for sweet Henry a lot this week I wasn't really thinking about him all evening.) As I sat there quietly the Lord said it's HENRY! So I called out his named loudly so everyone there -250 or more- could pray for him. What a mighty God we serve. He never forgets us in our need even when we mere humans do forget. I do see the glory of the Lord all around you. I know he is holding you all in the hollow of his hand. Much love, Brenda, Kevin, and Sophie
Hi Paul and Shelley,
Another great day under your belt! So glad to hear all the positive news. I must say again to you...this website is awesome. You are doing such a great job in updating us and as you know....I am one of those that check it every 20 minutes it seems to see what new info. there is. I get so excited when I see a new entry!
Some of us were wondering....when is the expected date of departure from Memphis? Or is it too early to say? Please let us know if we can do anything to help with Sam and Lane. We are swimming every day at the "Sonic pool", as the kids call it. We'd love to have them join us.
I hope you have sweet dreams tonight.
xoxo,
Melissa
