7:55 Sunday evening

Good Evening!

It's been a lovely day for Henry! He got to take 2 bubble-baths, lots of wagon-walks, had a great appetite, only Motrin/Tylenol for pain and NO HEAD DROPS!!!!!!!!!

I'm almost too scared to think this could be real....

We are impatiently awaiting tomorrow morning for the 'all-clear' to leave the building. As much as we really want to get out of here, that is sort of a scary thought too though. It's alot like taking your first-born home from the hospital and wondering if you really know what you're doing and if you're really going to be able to take care of it!!

I am hoping that there is a picture attached to this post. The picture was taken by "Bernard-the-puppet's" Mom, in the OR 'waiting' area. This is the place I told you about where it is a hubub of activity with patients and parents, and doctors and nurses right before they head into surgery. Bernard is there to chat with the kids and his Mom takes pictures and gives the parents a CD later. She just snaps away while no one really even notices. So, this is one of the moments I told you about, when Dr. Einhaus got down and prayed right before Henry left us. There was another picture almost like it that was not as 'blurry', but Paul and I really loved this one because in the middle of the 'blur' you can see clear as a bell Dr. Einhaus and Henry's sweet face looking right at her. I love it.

Ok, Henry-boy is sleeping soundly now, and I'm waiting for Paul to bring back dinner. Will sign off for tonight. I hope to have a great report in the morning...nite nite!

Shelly and Family~

I am glad to hear how well Henry is doing. All of us up here in Minnesota are praying for Henry, you and the whole family. From all the wonderful pictures we can tell how special Henry is to all of you. We share in your love for him as well as Lane and Sam and are hoping that this is the start to a great new journey for Henry.

All our love,
Lisa and Chris Broz

Our God is SOOOOO amazing! I can't think of enough words to express how I feel. I am so happy for you and will not stop praying for you. I will get in touch with you when you get back to Fayetteville. I want to take Lane and Sam out one afternoon because I am sure you have plenty to do and plus I just want to see them. :o)

Lots of Love,

Henry & Family,
You are truly a miracle Mr. Henry!! I feel so blessed to have met you this summer and to be able to share your story with others. You and your family are a great inspiration. I can't wait to hear about the wonderful progress that you are going to make when you get back in the hands of all those girls at Cross. I will keep reading your blog!
Love, Andrea

Hi Paul and Shelley, this is such wonderful news, no head drops! Hopefully you are close to being on your way home today! I love the picture, thanks for sharing it, it is so sweet and a magnificent inspiration at the same time. You guys are pretty awesome, I think God knew what he was doing when he picked you to be Henry's parents! Hope to keep hearing good news this week. Love from Ruth and all your friends here in Duncan.

I love the pic also because I see paul on his knees, and you wrapped around H...

This is the scripture from today's devotion in Upper Room:

Monday, August 4:

To him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory. Eph 3:20-21

Say no more. I love you, but call me back.... :)

RIGHT ON RUTH!! - It is no accident that Henry belongs to Paul and Shelley Ahmed! God knew before H was born of this time.
